COMPTOIR DU CAVIAR: importer, packer and manufacturer

For over 20 years, at COMPTOIR DU CAVIAR, we have been packaging caviar and fish roe; and since 1997, we have been manufacturing our Taramas on our site at Mulcent (78790).

This know-how and expertise allows us to make a difference! Every day, in our packaging and manufacturing laboratories, complying with the HACCP approach, we work with our products in strict respect of the rules of hygiene covering fresh food products.

The experience we have gained, and the proficiency of our professional teams, allow us to guarantee the best possible treatment for the caviar, just as for other roe during their packaging: opening the original boxes, selecting the grains, filling, weighing and finally vacuum-packing, to prevent oxidation and product spoiling.

On each individual box, by means of a label on the bottom,we identify: the type of product, giving the Latin name of the species; its origin; the batch number; the packer's health stamp; the weight; and the use-by date. This information is essential for the complete traceability of the product.
